The Frenz Performance Ensemble is extending an open invitation to all musicians
to participate in an OPEN JAM SESSION
based on the ROOT MELLODY listed below.
We are asking guitarists who attend to tune their guitars in Open D.
All accompanying instruments are to play in the key of D.

The Common Root Mellody for the project is.

To play this mellody on a guitar tuned in Open D,
play the mellody with one finger on the fourth string.
(which is tuned to D as it normally would be in standard tuning.)
All other strings are played open.

( these same fret positions can be played on any of the D strings
